Post Pulsión de Muerte / After Death Drive

La cultura nace de la represión de nuestros instintos dionisíacos. Ya puede vivirse la pulsión de muerte que esa represión nos produce. ¿Y si después de lo bueno viene lo malo? ¿Y si después de la tormenta sale el sol? ¿Y si a la oscuridad se le opone la luz? ¿Qué traerá la pulsión de vida de quienes queden en un mundo destruido hasta las cenizas?

Culture is born from the repression of our Dionysian instincts. We may already be living the death drive produced by that repression. What if good times are followed by bad ones? What if, after the storm, the sun emerges? What if darkness is answered by light? What kind of life drive will arise from those who remain after the world has been reduced to ashes?

Desarrollado durante la pandemia, el proyecto permaneció en la virtualidad y se presenta a través de dos exhibiciones digitales: una reconstrucción de la instalación arquitectónica y una serie de retratos de las personas que formaron parte de mi historia.

InteriorMismo is an autobiographical research project exploring how spaces and people shape our identity. Developed during the pandemic, the project remained within the virtual realm and is presented through two digital exhibitions: a reconstruction of the architectural installation and a series of portraits of the people who shaped my history.

A videofilm made during the pandemic, documenting from inside a windowless studio apartment in Mar del Plata the transformation of everyday life during the months of lockdown. An intimate and experimental exploration of physical boundaries, isolation, and the perception of time.

Calendario Uatafilin

Proyecto colectivo de fotografía y dirección de arte desarrollado entre 2010 y 2012. Cada año construimos un universo visual alrededor de una temática: miedos urbanos, cuentos infantiles y el imaginario apocalíptico de 2012. Un proyecto autogestionado que anticipó mi interés por construir mundos e imágenes desde el cruce entre arte, humor y cultura popular.

A collaborative photography and art direction project developed between 2010 and 2012. Each year we built a visual universe around a different theme: urban fears, fairy tales, and the apocalyptic imagination of 2012. A self-organized project that anticipated my interest in building worlds and images through the intersection of art, humor, and popular culture.

Una serie reconstruida retrospectivamente a partir de pinturas realizadas en distintos momentos. En ellas aparece, antes de ser consciente de ello, una preocupación temprana por el futuro, lo apocalíptico, lo misterioso y lo disidente.

A series retrospectively reconstructed from paintings made at different moments. They reveal an early, intuitive concern with the future, the apocalyptic, the mysterious, and the dissident.
