Santidad Moderna explora las nuevas formas de fe que emergen en la contemporaneidad. En un mundo donde las instituciones religiosas tradicionales pierden centralidad, astrología, ciencia, espiritualidad, política, redes sociales y filosofías diversas se mezclan para construir nuevos sistemas de creencias. Todo puede convertirse en dogma, todo puede ser objeto de fanatismo y cualquiera puede asumir el lugar de un predicador.

La serie observa estas formas contemporáneas de devoción sin establecer una separación clara entre lo sagrado y lo profano. Las imágenes combinan referencias religiosas, símbolos contemporáneos y elementos digitales para construir una iconografía propia de esta nueva espiritualidad.

Las obras fueron realizadas mediante un proceso híbrido: comienzan físicamente con crayones y luego son intervenidas digitalmente mediante dibujo y manipulación de imagen. El proceso se expande posteriormente hacia el video y el formato NFT, incorporando también las plataformas digitales como parte del propio universo que la obra observa.

(EN) Modern Holiness explores new forms of belief emerging in contemporary life. In a world where traditional religious institutions have lost some of their centrality, astrology, science, spirituality, politics, social media, and various philosophies come together to create new systems of belief. Anything can become dogma, anything can become an object of fanaticism, and anyone can assume the role of a preacher.

The series observes these contemporary forms of devotion without drawing a clear boundary between the sacred and the profane. The images combine religious references, contemporary symbols, and digital elements to construct an iconography of this new spirituality.

The works are created through a hybrid process: they begin physically with crayons and are then digitally intervened through drawing and image manipulation. The process later expands into video and NFT formats, incorporating digital platforms themselves as part of the universe the work examines.
